Body – Using orange yarn:
- mc, sc x 8 (8)
- inc. each (16)
- sc, inc (24)
- sc x 2, inc (32)
- sc x 3, inc (40)
- sc x 4, inc (48)
- sc x 5, inc (56)
- sc each for 15 rounds/rows (56)
Stem – Color change to brown:
- sc x 55, last stitch sc down into stitch below, sl st into 1st stitch, ch 2 (56)
- HDC x 56, sl st, ch 1 (56)
- sc x 56, sl st, ch 1 (56)
- sc x 56, sl st, ch 1, cut long tail, pull tail through. Weave in ends (56)
Vines – Color change to green:
4.0 mm hook
make 2 long chains for the drawstrings
ch 126, cut yarn and pull tail through, pull knot tight. (125)
Finish the Pouch:
Weave drawstrings around every other HDC stitch, from opposite sides of the pouch, tie off when the bag is open. Trim the tails.
